GETTING READY FOR A TRIP

Boy, do I love travelling!! There is something special and exciting about the prospect of seeing new places, new scenarios, breathing fresh air away from the (sometimes) suffocating routine!

There are two things I hate about travelling though: the packing and the getting to and from part. Oh and don´t get me started on customes if it´s international!!

So, at the moment I´m packing. Not really since I´m writing this post. The suitcase lays on the floor opened and unfinished as I contemplate whether I´m packing enough clothing. If one travels to a warm locationg it´s easier but trouble comes when one travels to a cold location. I´m travelling to the Argentine Patagonia. Hopefully I´ll be meeting with the snow after almost 6 years. I´m getting a fuzzy feeling as I´m writing this. I´m not a big fan of cold weather. I´m not a big fan of snow but, it´s been so long since I last saw it that I´m missing it just a bit.

So, Tierra del Fuego and Glaciar Perito Moreno, here I go!! I will be seeing you in 3 days!! Lots of new photos coming this way pretty soon!!!

LORENZO, THE LITTLE RUSSIAN

Lorenzo is the youngest son of my friend Lorena. He is her fourth kid and came as a surprise! :) I´m his godmother. We call him Rusito (little Russian) because of his snowy white skin. He is 5 months old and 8 kilos heavy. He has some chubby cheeks and extremely chubby thighs that make you wanna bite them every time you see them! He just discovered his toes and he is sucking his big toe every chance he has!

Zoe, 7 and Elian, 5 are two of his sibblings. Tomás is the oldest, 11 and he wanted no part on the photo taking because he was too busy playing with his Play Station games.

SWEET MAXIMO

Máximo is my nephew.
He is five years old and turns six in August. (Gosh, six already!)
He is a huge fan of Ben 10 and Cars and used to love Toy Story and Mickey Mouse when he was younger.
He likes taking photos and fishing with his dad.
He doesn´t like playing soccer at all but enjoys basketball a lot so he is about to start taking basketball lessons.
He LOVES going to preschool, even during the weekends he wakes up early in the morning and changes into his school clothes and grabs his backpack.
He is a sweet, adorable boy.
His favorite food is pasta with red sauce. He could eat that every single day of his life. And pizza.
He is going to be a big brother in August and he is so proud of it already. He says his brother´s name is going to be Alejandro.

A LITTLE BOOKWORM IN THE SUMMER | KIDS PHOTOGRAPHY

Máximo has a thing for his nonna´s (grandma in Italian) room. 

It must be because this said room is full with lots and lots of stuff (though she did a major declutter session now). 

She´s got a huge plasma TV so he can watch his favorite TV shows (now it´s all about Ben 10 and those weird looking alien creatures he turns into). 

She has a fluffy mattress and he loves jumping on it. 

She has a bucket full of colorful plastic sodas taps and he puts them one on top of the other creating tall towers and pyramid like structures. 

And she has books. Lots and lots of books. Some are novels, some are non fiction, some are poetry books and some are kids books she religiouslly purchases every week at the news stand. 

And Máximo LOVES reading those books. When he was younger, he would make you read the same book over and over until he knew the words by heart.
