FILM PHOTOGRAPHY | ONE OF MY FAVE PLACES IN THE WORLD & A BIRTHDAY

Today I´m not doing the Monday feature {Historias de New York} because today is a special day for me. Today is my birthday! So...

I mostly find people who doesn´t care about birthdays at all. I´m a die hard believer that birthdays are special because it´s one´s unique day. Out of the 365 days of the year, one´s birthday is one´s day! So, it HAS to be special... at least for myself! 

I don´t know if I´m gonna be having a small get together or even a birthday dinner or something today. I usually plan big plans for the day and end up doing nothing at all (which is lame, I know!). I´m giving myself a cool present this year. I´m taking my very first photography course with 2 professional photographers here in town and I´m really excited about it! 

Anyway, today I´m posting photos of one of my fave places in this world: Nantucket, Massachussetts, USA. I deeply regret that when I went there I didn´t have a digital camera and wasn´t much into photography. The little island has the most beautiful details to take photos of. These photos were taken with a Minolta film camera. The first camera I bought with my own money and I really loved it. Too bad it broke a couple of years ago and then I bought my digital Nikon Coolpix. So, these images are a bit vintage! I fully blame Nantucket for my newly found love for all things ocean/beach.
