Somebody asked me if I had more photos from Cuba to show... Saying "more pictures" is an understatement!
There are still around 250 MORE photos to show!! And I´m having such a hard time picking the ones I share and the ones I don´t!... Blame it on Habana! It´s way too beautiful to only pick a few images!
Our tour guide told us the reason why La Habana is named like that is still a mistery. There are 2 stories about it. La Habana is named after the native Indian chief Habanaguez. The other version tells the story of an native Indian girl who was there when the Spaniards arrived. She kept pointing at her chest and saying "Habana, habana". The Spanish sailmen believed she was trying to tell them her name so they named the old city after her.
